10 Costco Wines for your Valentines

Valentines weekend is here and whether your celebrating with your significant other, best friends or keeping it low key at home, there is one thing you must add to your weekend, Wine. So we did a wine run to Costco this week to show you the best wine finds comparing to market price (purchasing at total wine, wine shops etc.) for your weekend.

  1. Kirkland Signature Brut $19.99

This Brut is one of the best bangs for your buck, its consistent and the perfect Champagne to pair with any special occasion. From Champagne, France this pairs nicely with mild cheese and rich fish.

2. Casasmith Porcospino Primitivo $14.99

This vintage is $5 off, from a Northridge vineyard in Wahluke Slope. Notes of black fruit and a peppery finish. We like to enjoy this wine with our favorite Chicken Piccata dish or even a late night popcorn and wine snack.

3. Night Owl Red Blend $49.99

This rare 2013 vintage has a medium body with a peppery finish with notes of black fruit and chocolate. This pairs well with most meats and we think is a fun funky varietal if your looking for a something new to try!

4. Hedges Red Blend $18.99

This red blend is $10 off from Red Mountain, WA one of our favorite go to dinner wines with oak, dark fruit and an earthy finish.

5. Austin Hope Cabernet Sauvignon $45.99

Around $5 off from Paso Robles, California is among the top 1% of wines in the world plus we love their label! This Cab Sauv pairs beautifully with beef and has notes of vanilla, plum and a smokey finish.

6. Senato Amarone $44.99

With $15 off, the Amarone is one of our favorite Italian varietals right now. This Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is the top 1% of wines in the world it’s bold with a smooth finish. Holding notes of chocolate and black fruit this goes nice with some beef and blue cheese. Truly we will drink this one with many dishes, do yourself a favor and try it!

7. Barbaresco $37.99

This vintage is about $8 off compared retail price. This 2017 vintage is produced by Produttori del Barbaresco in Barbaresco, Italy. Its bold with notes of red fruit and an oaky finish and pairs well with beef and pasta.

8. Louis Roederer Brut Rose $57.99

This bottle is $20 off, the 2014 Louis Roederer Brut Rose from Champagne, France. Is bold and acidic with a citrus finish. This is the perfect Brut Rose to pair for your Valentines Day!

9. Matthew Claret $23.49

With $5 off this vintage from Columbia Valley, WA. This is a well-balanced wine with oaky, blackberry and chocolate notes. Pairs perfect with your favorite pasta dish!

10. Barons De Rothschild Brut $34.99

Our biggest find of the day at over $35 off retail. The Barons de Rothschild Brut has notes of pear, toast and a lemon finish. Pairs well with fish and soft cheeses.
